Julian Brewer – The Digital Sales Force

Richard Falconer – Challenging search performance in 2020
In this talk Richard discusses the elephant in the room of digital marketing: everyone is incentivised to ‘prove’ success. Through the use of real-life examples, he’ll explain this costly phenomenon, how it affects search campaigns specifically and what marketers can do to overcome it.
Marketing Automation Specialist
For three years up to December 2019 Julian led the Schroders global digital marketing and analytics functions. He was responsible for developing and leading the strategic digital framework bringing the marketing and distribution teams together around the capabilities of the digital channel. He has a strong track record of commercial digital management within senior digital positions at TSB and Barclays Bank over 15 years. He’s also a member of the 2019 DataiQ top 100 primarily for his work on marketing automation.
Richard is Yard’s Managing Director. He started his digital career early in the millennium, designing websites and playing with Google’s search results before joining agency land as an analyst. A technical SEO at heart, Richard is one of a select few people who can claim to have optimised websites for both the biggest company in the world and the smallest. Richard oversees the performance of Yard as a whole and firmly believes in the link between employee satisfaction and company performance.
