Yard is an ambitious digital marketing agency based in the heart of Edinburgh. We’re undergoing unprecedented levels of growth.

We’re looking for a communication expert to lead our outreach team. We want a creative, driven and vibrant leader who can get our sh*t hot content in front of the right audience. Make your presence felt!

  • Get our content in front of the right audience
  • Build lasting relationships with media sites and beyond
  • Develop highly successful existing outreach tactics
  • Drive outreach growth across all clients
  • Promote Yard as the go to agency for sites looking for quality content
  • Audience development and insight
  • Outreach strategy for all content campaigns across all clients
  • Report on successes / failures of each campaign
  • Manage and implement targets
  • Monitor / report on link activity
  • Continuous internal training
  • Improve efficiency and ways of working
  • Champion outreach to all clients and across the business
  • Endless hustle


  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of digital marketing and associated technologies
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ communication experience (preferably in an outreach or PR role)
  • Mixture of both agency and client-side experience preferable
  • Basic understanding of analytics, data, tag management
  • Strong understanding of and ability to identify marketing KPIs and key deliverables
  • The ability to quickly adapt, problem solve and learn
  • Self-starting attitude with the desire to learn and develop your skills
  • An affection for our just-f##n-do-it attitude to making things happen
