Our brief was to achieve and maintain leading visibility in search engine result pages SERPs for the supermarket bank loans industry.

Strategy

On top of initial best practise onsite recommendations, we took our data driven approach offsite by focusing on highest traffic gaps (Gap analysis). We then prioritised our strategy by creating content hubs around all loan related topics, long form content, interactive guides and partnered up with some of the most respected brands in their industry. We promoted the content and product using multi-channel campaigns, including: social, competitions, PR promotion and paid promotion. If someone had a loan related search question, we wanted the client to have the answer, allowing them to become a trusted brand in the industry.

Execution

It was important that skill sets were maximised so a collaborative approach was going to be key. In-house teams have the product and industry knowledge, whilst we have the digital industry experience.

Seasonally targeted, multi-channel campaigns, were planned out over 12 month periods. Each campaign was delivered on time to our strict production schedule and our bespoke content creation process ensured smooth delivery of the content from concept, through approvals to go live.

Partnerships were formed to maximise the reach of each campaign.

Results

In one of the most competitive market places in search, we have seen some hugely positive results, with an uplift in year-on-year organic traffic for non-brand searches.
